WHAT
The Lodge Recording Studio is a small, intimate studio located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis, MN. My goal is to help make your songs come alive, and to capture that in a high quality, professional recording. As an independent artist myself, I know the struggle that comes with being able to afford something that is going to further your brand and take your career to the next level. The Lodge is a perfect choice for the artists, songwriters, and bands, at any point in their career, that are looking for anything from stripped-back raw organic sounds to highly produced commercial-ready recordings at an affordable rate.

The Lodge Recording Studio runs Logic Pro X. I wanted to like Pro-Tools, but Logic just proved to be a better fit for me. My interface is the Universal Audio APOLLO series. Yamaha HS5 & HS8S monitors. I've got tube, cardioid, & dynamic microphones. Shadow Hills Mono Game Preamp. Inward Connections Brute OPTO compressor. Empirical Labs EL8 Distressor. Universal Audio 2-610 Analog Tube Preamp. Universal Audio Digital preamps, compressors, limiters, EQs, & many general plug-ins from multiple sources. A wide array of guitars including Gibson J-45 acoustic & 335 electric, G&L ASAT (Thinline Telecaster) & Legacy (Stratocaster), Guild Starfire Special, Gretch Baritone w/ Bigsby, Banjo, Dobro, Fender J-Bass, Yamaha Guitarlele, Sorano Ukulele. Quality guitar amps including Swart Space Tone, 1965 Fender Showman, Princeton Reverb RI, VOX AC-15 & more. A large selection of percussion instruments reside at the studio, as well, including a Risen Drum kit and a pre-serial (1963?) Ludwig Pioneer. We also have access to a wide variety of gear that can be borrowed from a partnered set of studios in the same building or beyond.
